It's all in the details!

I hope you had a very merry Christmas! I wish you and yours a happy new year! May 2021 be full of blessings and new dreams come true! Well, back to life, back to reality. Before we dive into work, school, schedules, and all things remote, I invite you to dwell one last time carefree, into the holidays. Take a look. I absolutely love photographing the details and decorations of the season. You work hard to set everything up, why not?! There is a magical essence to all things tinsel and sparkle.

Often, in the holiday rush, we don't take the time to capture all the little details that make up the big picture—the backdrop to childhood memories. Just like the smell of freshly baked cookies transport us to the awe...of yesteryear, a capture can take us back to a time when home glowed with the soft cast of twinkle lights as we cuddled up with comfy socks and hot cocoa/coffee. Moments that build value as time passes. It's one of my new favorite things to do! Stop by your family home and photograph your traditional details! Well, that and my new robe, I'm confident I can pull off as professional while on zoom meetings, yes? No?? Ok, no, but still like that.  It's those details that fill the soul with love and cozy bliss. And that's how I would sum up the holidays, comfy LoVe.
